Our Story

Cowabunga Communications is a female owned and operated creative agency operating at the intersection of culture, entertainment, and modern communications.

Frankly, we were tired of the corporate marketing model dominated by people who just didn't understand, well, PEOPLE.  Approvals. Approvals. More Approvals... then a half baked idea that has been filtered through teams that don't even know who we're doing this for.

Our team was born in 1997 which means we are both Millennial & Gen-Z. What does that mean? We understand multiple generations.  Not only do we bridge the generational language barrier, we seamlessly help international brands speak the US market fluently. 

 

We specialize in building brands, campaigns, and experiences that connect across generations & US culture. Combining Millennial buying behavior with Gen Z cultural awareness we are proud of the work we foster while being strategic and socially relevant.
